Undoubtedly people with ASD are not party animals. The London Paris bike ride was a great respite to the many amazing people who have to care for ASD children 24/7 and an opportunity for those people to let their hair down. Good luck Kev if you read this. Must be getting easy now?

i am not saying that some on spectrum can party ok but to most its a nightmare which makes birthdays/xmas and familly gatherings an intense time of difficulty
i wish you luck on your rasing money but just thought the point on partying needed clarifying ,in fact its the opposite of what you have said that is classed as part of diagonisis
but as with anything there are individuals differant and indedd kids diagnosed young and getting help from tender age prob have a better outcome than those who are adults and not diagnosed till late in life

What is this? A Summer Holiday? Have you got Cliff and The Shadows in a red London bus as your support team?
I bet you’re wasting time ‘In the Country’ or are you just ‘On The Beach’? You should be ‘Travelling Light’, you’re not one of ‘The Young Ones’ you know. ‘The Minute You’re Gone’, I knew you’d start slacking, but as ‘We Don’t Talk Anymore’, I don’t know. So, ‘Please Don’t Tease’, ‘Move It’, or you won’t be back until we are breaking out the ‘Mistletoe and Wine’.

Yesterday (30/6) was hard, Col du Burdincurutcheta and Col de Soudet. The support car would have followed Kev the whole way yesterday if it wasn't for the incident of the dog (mad dog chasing Vincent the Volvo: ABS works well)and James the Sat Nav going AWOL, sending us the wrong way. Avoided Col du Burdincurutcheta (1135 metres - pah! let's go up the Col D'Irau instead, it's a much narrower road and has challenges like cows on the road looming up from the mist!). Found Kev and kept with him the rest of the way. Got sunstroke at the top of the Col de Soudet. Good luck to Francesca, hope you like mountains.

Just wishing you one final good luck for the trip.
Don't forget to pack plenty of 'The king of shaves' I am sure its on one of the many lists of things to do.
I will be watching the 'not so secret' with great interest, very disapointed I can't be out there with you in one of the support teams, but will be thinking of you over the next few weeks.
Hope all goes well and you have recovered from any dodgy carb loading at Annne %26 Andy's.
All our love

I think we partied in style, having spent nearly an hour at the bottle bank today clearing up the empties! We raised over a £1,000 in tickets last night and £200 on the raffle on top. Please spread the word to friends and colleagues and keep the money rolling in for the the big grimpe. And if you got away last night without paying get on to just giving right now. Lots of love to you Kev - you know you have so much support on your incredible journey. Wish I could join you too.

I'd offer to come and join you for some support (like you gave us on the London2Paris) but there is no way I'd be able to keep up with you, I have only been on a bike once since we got back!
It so good to see that you are still raising money for the NAS, and much needed awareness! I hope to do some more funraising next year, but this time it'll be back with the hiking boots!
Best of luck to you, I'm sure you don't need it and don't forget the Vaseline for those "tender" bits!!

Good luck and enjoy! Heather
